I would go with the girl above me. Don't dye your hair black. Because in reality, NOBODY has black hair. Even African American, Asian, and any other race or person that would have dark hair, we call it black, but it's not. It's really just dark brown. Get the darkest brown dye you can find and dye your hair that color. Black dye will be a pain to get out if you don't like it and it will look like a wig.

Whatever you do don't use cheap box color! I strongly urged you to go to a salon and have it done. Box color that YOU can buy in a store is not good for your hair. It has a ton of ammonia in it more than it should and will make your hair very dry if continuously used.
