i'm hearing from some people that if you put lemon in your hair and go out in the sun, it will create natural highlights. does this work for asian people with black/dark brown hair? has anyone ever done it? what were your results? please don't tell me it's going to damage my hair unless you've done it or you know 100% for a fact! :)
Has anyone here with black or dark brown asian hair used lemon to create natural highlights? please help!?
I've tried this- it takes a long time and the highlights that do come through are orangish- reddish first and eventually go lighter. If you want quick results, get a professional lightening job.

Your hair is too dark to show a difference in
colour when using lemon juice. Lemon juice
is a way of creating highlights in one's hair,
but it only shows if you've light brown to blonde
hair.
